The idea of ‘lived-in’ as a synonym for craftsmanship can be seen clearly in the Philippe Model PRSX, thanks to unique, patented foxing tape that creates a purposefully imperfect sole. The shield on the side of the shoe features the coat of arms of the City of Paris, where Philippe Model launched its brand. The upper is made from calfskin, with mirrored fabric, snakeskin print calfskin and laminated leather inserts. The laces are silver with a lurex thread. The sole, 2.5 cm high, is made from vintage effect brushed rubber. Philippe Model Paris uses Italian materials and leather. We call it ‘made with care in Italy’.
